Service Description

This course focuses on the key underpinnings of painting, which are: drawing, composition, tone and colour, but also the role that materials can play. During day 1 students will learn how hand ground oil colour is prepared fostering an understanding of how oils work. There will also be the opportunity to experiment with various painting mediums.​ Day 2 Students will use the paint created, along with their standard palette of colour, to develop a painting either from their sketchbooks or from a still life. Materials for making one tube of oil colour and a range of mediums included in course price.

Cancellation Policy

All Cancellations must be made in writing to Merrie Curtiss -Fuller at this address, Holly Farm, Brisley Road, Horningtoft, Dereham, Norfolk, NR20 5DS. Cancellations will be subject to a cancellation fee of £30. If cancellation is received less than 5 weeks before the start of the course, your deposit will be forfeited. I regret I cannot make refunds for bookings which you cancel after the final balance has been paid. Final balance is due no later than 5 weeks before the course. I reserve the right to cancel the course if insufficient bookings are received, I will inform you of this at the earliest opportunity and in this event the monies will be refundable in full.
